HOW DIGITAL WORKS
Acrylic panels are a stunning way to display digitally printed designs.
WHAT WE NEED
Simply provide us with dimensions of the graphics or image you require, along with the artwork if available.
ARTWORK
All normal artwork formats are acceptable. Images should be ideally a minimum 300 dpi quarter size for best results. For graphics and lettering, we recommend artwork in Vector format. We automatically interpolate artwork, to achieve optimum quality at no extra charge.
Our graphics team will advise and guide on all aspects of your design. We will help source images and check the suitability of any artwork provided. If you require Tektura to create artwork on your behalf, or to change existing artwork, this will be subject to extra cost.
TEKTURA STUDIO & GUEST DESIGNERS
These designs are exclusive to Tektura, and have been created in collaboration with guest artists, photographers, graphic designers and graduates. They can be printed onto acrylic panels, and are also suitable for wallcoverings, or window film.
Every design has been tried and tested, and looks fabulous, even when printed up to 3 metres tall. We can crop and resize to suit – to fill an entire floor to ceiling area, or to create a smaller focal point.
Our Studio designs are offered at standard Tektura Digital prices. A license fee is applicable to John G Moore photographs.

IMAGE LIBRARIES
If you have not yet sourced artwork, or are just looking for ideas, you may find it useful to search an internet-based image library. Images can be purchased direct from these libraries. We can of course help with sourcing, and will always check suitability of image for you.

SAMPLES
Samples of 5mm acrylic are available on request. These show a standard design, printed one side, with flame polished edges. For projects, we offer visuals to show how your own artwork will appear. 10cm x 10cm project samples can also be produced, showing a portion of your own artwork. These are 5mm thick and are charged at £7 per sample + VAT, refundable if project goes ahead.
PRODUCTION
Acrylic panels are 5mm thick, and the maximum size for a single panel is 2.4m x 1.2m. Acrylic art can be displayed on a single panel, or can be split across equal sized or multi-sized panels to suit the individual installation. Panels are precision trimmed, and corners and edges are smooth flame-polished.
We can print on the reverse side, front side – or both – for equally dramatic effects. We can print full colour and white.
DELIVERY TIME
Once visuals and /or samples are approved, lead time for acrylic panels is usually 10 - 14 days. We will always try and accommodate tighter deadlines.
INSTALLATION
Acrylic panels are straightforward to install. They are hung so they stand proud from the wall. Holes are pre-drilled in each corner ready for wall mounting.
We supply 4 or 6 wall satin silver mount fixings per panel (6 fixings for panels A0 size and bigger - ie 84cm x 119cms). These are satin silver, 19mm diameter, and allow the acrylic to stand 18mm proud of the wall. Full instructions are supplied with each order.
Acrylic panels can be relocated as needed.
WHAT WE PRINT ONTO
5mm cast acrylic with flame-polished edges
This is our preferred print media for acrylic panels. It is glossy, and ultraclear. We print on the reverse side of the acrylic, creating a vivid effect.
Other options
We also offer matt (antiglare) / front-side / two-sided print, 8mm or 10mm thick acrylic, along with other surfaces such as polycarbonate. Details on request.

In addition to Acrylic, we also digitally print any of our wallcoverings, magnetic vinyl, and can offer window graphics or cut vinyl lettering/shapes.
PRICE GUIDE
With Tektura Digital, there are no set up costs, and no machinery costs.

Acrylic panel – An average 100cm x 100cm panel is approximately £200 per m2.
If we provide pictures from image libraries on your behalf, these are priced as follows:
Shutterstock: Free of charge, for all orders 15 m2 and over. / £70 for orders less than 15 m2, or for unused bought images.
Other Royalty Free image libraries (eg Corbis, Getty, iStockPhoto, FotoSearch etc): Costs vary from £20 up to £1,000.

Minor alterations: Free of charge
Extensive alterations: £75/hr
