Birmingham City University's Trends exhibition which showcased at this years Birmingham Interiors Show at the NEC, received significant praise for its innovation, creativity and impact.
The exhibition created with Tektura Wallcoverings, UBM Live - the exhibition organisers behind Interiors Birmingham, and forecasting agency Global Color Research Limited - Mix Publications presented the future trends to the interiors industry through a fusion of textile, Tektura Wallcoverings and surface finishes presented in four themed Pavilions.

Birmingham City University presented four pavilions showcasing four trends for 09/10 including: Contour, Punch, Opal and Roma. Each pavilion showcased lighting, flooring, and Tektura Wallcovering generated through student exploration, featuring their work made up as prototypes.
The prototypes were developed by working in partnership with Tektura Wallcoverings and key exhibitors who provided the know-how and materials necessary. The pavilions also featured product which has been selected from key exhibitors and chosen by the curatorial team.
