CASE STUDY : Bespoke wallcoverings at MC6

Published on , in Case Studies.

MC6 (Middlesbrough College sixth form centre) have opened the doors to a new extension which provides first-class learning facilities to students in the area. The extension is part of the development of Middlehaven - a former derelict brownfield site and the largest regeneration scheme outside London. It honours the importance of Middlehaven in Middlesbrough's history by retaining the Victorian façade of the former sail-making workshops.

Our Treasure fabric-backed vinyl wallcovering was used in common areas around the college. Niven Architects also commissioned Tektura to create bespoke Word Cloud designs incorporating book titles, sports personalities, and famous people throughout history. These designs reflect the shapes of the building, and tie together the colours of the interior design scheme.
