MARCO PIERRE WHITE and PARK AVENUE HOTEL, BELFAST

Published on , in Case Studies.
Since it's opening in 1959, the 4 star Park Avenue Hotel has been owned by the same family for three generations. The hotel has recently undergone a complete renovation. Let's have a look.
Interior Designer Brenda Mulligan has chosen an eclectic mix of wallcovering starting with Grand Paper Damask for the reception area. This dramatic repeating pattern is designed by Timorous Beasties for Tektura, and we print to order. We can also rescale, and print on many different background textures - creating a totally unique finish for individual clients.
Still in the reception, another feature wall has been created using our Shibori wallcovering, along with Nano - an iridescent boxy texture. Both are hardwearing fabric-backed vinyl wallcoverings, designed specifically for high traffic areas.
The hotel also hosts the only Marco Pierre White restaurant in NorthernIreland. The Steak has a monochrome theme. Pictures of brooding Marco Pierre White adorn the walls, with Tektura's Overture Wall iridesent block-effect wallcovering as the backdrop.. Head chef is Eddie Patrick (husband of Mandy Patrick - owner of the hotel)
Blocks, fluid pattern and floral effects are mixed together throughout. The theme continues with our Embroidery wallcovering
Tektura's swirling Oil Punk wallcovering has also been chosen for the restaurant and public areas, along with Orlean - a textured silk effect.
And finally red makes a reapparance in the bedrooms, where Tektura Ridge wallcovering has been chosen for the bedhead walls.
